revealed Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Hussain al-Shahristani, Wednesday, that Iraq's revenues from oil will rise to 300 billion dollars even if it remained the price of oil stable, while noting that Iraq has achieved revenues estimated at 90 billion U.S. dollars last year. Shahristani said During a speech at a ceremony to announce the electoral program of the State of Law coalition and attended "Alsumaria News", "Iraq was able to achieve during the past years, an increase in oil production to three and a half million barrels of oil, which achieved revenues of large annual estimated at 90 billion dollars during the year last year, after it was 30 billion dollars in 2006. " Shahristani said that "we are continuing to increase oil production to nine million barrels per day, and this will increase annual revenues to 300 billion dollars, even if the oil price remains fixed on what it is today," pointing to "the existence of a national strategy for the advancement of economic reality and which are not taken except through the fight against corruption and restore the stolen money." The International Energy Agency revealed in the (March 14, 2014) that Iraq's production jumped 530 000 barrels per day in February to 3.62 million barrels per day, the highest level since 1979, .
