U.S. Embassy warns its citizens against traveling through Baghdad International Airport

BAGHDAD / NINA/ The U.S. Embassy in Iraq warned its citizens from traveling through Baghdad International Airport until the eighth of this month, attributed the reason for this is to a " specific security threat ".
The Embassy said in a statement today that it has banned their employees from using the Baghdad International Airport now ," indicating that it has " urged the U.S. citizens in all parts of Iraq to be cautious ."
The embassy added that this caution will continue until the eighth of this April, attributing it to " the existence of a specific security threat.
The embassy advised U.S. citizens to avoid attracting attention and change the days and timings and routes of travel in addition to exercise caution while driving and when entering or leaving their cars./ End
