Basra (Forat) –Basra Governorate announced the start of granting loans for unemployed people within the national strategy of eliminating unemployment and alleviate poverty.
The director of helping poor people directorate within Basra Governorate, Muslim Mohalhal, reported to Alforat News Agency ''The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs in coordination with Basra Governor, Majid al-Nasrawi, approved to grant these loans to cover the unemployed persons.''
''The loans, which varied about (8-10) IQD millions, will cover about (550) persons where the loans are exempt from bank interest and should be repaid within five years,'' he added. \End\
