Iraq's Ambassador to Greece, Greek official discuss opening consulate in Baghdad

Baghdad (Forat) -The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Athens, Mr. Burhan Namik met the Head of Presidential Office of the Greek Republic Mr. Konstantinos Fetzios.
A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received by Alforat News Agency cited "Mr. Fetezios expressed the desire of Greek president to visit Iraq in order to strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries in addition to discussing the Greek side's desire to open a consulate in Baghdad after it has opened a commercial office in Erbil."
"The meeting reviewed the relations between the two countries, especially economic areas and the role of Greek companies in contributing to the reconstruction and construction in Iraq," the statement concluded. /End/
