Gold falls in the longest losing streak in 7 months

Gold fell for the fifth straight session on Monday, recording the longest losing streak since November (November) and record its lowest level in four months due to rising stock prices and weak demand in Asia today.
The gold fell to 1240.69 dollars per ounce, the lowest level since early February, before recovering slightly to 1243.40 dollars by the time 0633 GMT. The current wave of landing the longest since the period between October and November, while the continued downward trend of seven consecutive days. Silver surged 0.05 per cent to 18.69 dollars. Platinum was down 0.35 per cent to 1439.6 dollars, while palladium rose 0.34 percent to 835.4 dollars.
