Baghdad (NINA) – President Jalal Talabani and leader of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council (SIIC), Ammar al-Hakeem stressed the importance to consolidate efforts to overcome obstacles hindering the political process.
*****A statement issued on Wednesday, Aug. 24, by the President’s Office said, “Talabani met with Hakeem, accompanied by a number of SIIC leaders, reviewing political developments, domestic and foreign, stressing the importance to consolidate and unify national efforts to contribute progressing the political process and overcome obstacles hindering it.”*****
