Leaders agreed to denounce sectarian rhetoric and invite the world to support Iraq

Leaders of political blocs agreed in a meeting held on the home of Ibrahim al-Jaafari, on Tuesday evening, to avoid any kind of sectarian provocations, attempts to pre-empt and prevent the fruits of the electoral process, calling on the international community to "stand by Iraq, in the face of terrorism."
The head of the National Alliance, Ibrahim al-Jaafari, in a statement read after the meeting, "We appeal to regional and international situation to stand by Iraq and the support of his people to confront this danger which is threatening the region and the whole world," noting that "the meeting" refused to allow Balajhaz on the fruits of the electoral process from the millions that voted before a brief period of time.
