Iraq participated in the meeting with the ISO Organization in Istanbul

Iraq participated in the meeting held in Istanbul, Turkey, and the international ISO experts to the Middle East and North Africa, which was chaired by the Swedish expert in the Organization staifan Soderbergh.
Iraq was represented at the meetings Director market research & consumer protection Dr. Salem Saleh Al-Tamimi of Baghdad University, to discuss action plans for a number of State departments (Department of environment and the reform Assembly and quality control Dept. in Kurdistan and the rook to engineering services and the General company for leather industries at the Ministry of industry and minerals, the Sunni endowment in the South region training centre staffs in the technical education Board and Atlas).
Were identified during the meeting on the major obstacles facing implementation specification (26,000), community responsibility and solutions to avoid these obstacles, and focus on the positive and strengthened in line with the reality of these institutions.
The meeting agreed to complete the final stages of this specification therefore discussed later, identifying application areas for the benefit of society and its institutions on the proposals and mechanisms the Ministry of higher education and scientific research and the University of Baghdad and that all education institutions are community service.
ISO is a non-governmental organization for standardization and international, based in Geneva, with a membership of 158 members nationally from 195 countries in the world.
And to develop global standards accepted by most of the States and organizations for Standardization world in various fields and work to improve and develop the international standards and to contribute to global trade liberalization and formulate a product and service of global competition and the convergence of working conditions and raise the level of global quality, reduce costs and facilitate the implementation of quality systems in the various disciplines.
The organization works to provide specifications and requirements and guidance necessary to establish quality management systems, and aims to provide products or services that match your specific requirements and to evaluate these systems.
