American planes bomb ISIS location near Mosul Dam and start joint operation to restore it

Shafaq News / Identical sources reported on Saturday that American planes began bombing military sites of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria “ISIS” organization in a location near Mosul
dam in Nineveh province north of Iraq, while revealed a joint American - Iraqi military process launched at dawn today to try to restore the strategic facility.
The sources said according to CNN network , seen by "Shafaq News", that “ the military operation involve American aircraft providing air cover for ground advancing Iraqi- Kurdish forces to try to restore the dam.
The sources added that American fighter jets have already begun operations at dawn on Saturday.
ISIS terrorists were able to control of the largest power plant "hydro" in Iraq, which is located on the dam on the Tigris River, 50 kilometers from Mosul, in the third of the current August.
Mosul Dam is the fourth-largest reservoir in the Arab world, with a capacity of about eight billion cubic meters, with a maximum storage capacity of approximately 11 billion and produce about 750 megawatts of electricity.
If terrorists blow up the dam, the water will be life-threatening to human, animal and agricultural provinces of Nineveh, Kirkuk, Salahuddin and down to Baghdad across hundreds of cities, towns and villages that will be affected significantly.
According to the Iraqi Ministry of Water, ISIS terrorists will not destroy the dam for one reason is that the water will sink large areas controlled by the militants, including Mosul and Salahuddi
