Nineveh (Forat)- Peshmerga forces backed by the U.S. Air Aviation (Colin)are preparing to liberate Zammar sub- district in Mosul city, of Nineveh province.
Senior officer within Peshmerga forces ranks, told Alforat News Agency on Thursday "Violent clashes broke out between the Peshmerga 1st Special Force, supported by U.S. strikers and the terrorists of the so called the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant, in order to liberate Zammar sub-district."
"The Peshmerga forces led an attack against ISIL terrorists from the north and the south of Zammar entrances, which caused big losses among ISIL terrorists and forced them to retreat and withdraw from many areas of the sub-district," the source added.
Moreover, the source assured "The ISIL terrorists burned three oil fields in the center of Ainzala area, as a response to the Peshmerga attack./End/
