Foreign Affairs and Trade said the Iraqi Ministry, on Monday, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation began acting the 30th session of the Economic and trade cooperation between the member states, and attend Iraq as part of a ministerial delegation and a government headed by the Minister of Commerce. Media sources said, that: "The Organization of Islamic Cooperation began its meetings from today and ending Balthamn th of this month, with the participation of 55 countries, and will be chaired by the Iraqi delegation and Minister of Commerce Mlas Mohammed Abdul Karim, and includes representatives from the Zara T-commerce, finance, transport, agriculture, industry, minerals, and Tourism and Antiquities Authority National Investment as well as the Central Bank of Iraq. "
The director of the Department of Foreign Economic Relations at the Ministry Hashim Mohammed Hatem said in a statement, "It will be on the sidelines of the meeting schedule the views and proposals and comments to member states, to expand environmental trade between the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the advancement of the means of transport and communications and increase the productivity of the agricultural sector and food security, financial cooperation. Hatem said he will also be talking about "strengthening the role of the private sector in economic cooperation, and prepare for the meeting to exchange views on the role of the partnership between the public and private sectors for the development of the tourism sector. There will be two meetings, the first at the expert level, and over two days, and the second meeting will be at the ministerial level in the other two days, to sign the minutes of the decisions and discussions that took place at the expert level."
