Baghdad (IMN) - Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi stressed that disputes and conflicts are not solved by war. Information Office of the Prime Minister stated that "al-Abadi, received in his office today the OIC delegation headed by Abdul Aziz way, where they were during the meeting, they discussed the latest developments The situation in Iraq and the region, and the role of the OIC in promoting Islamic unity. " Abadi stressed "the importance of Islamic solidarity and promote unity between Muslims and narrow the differences inside and outside the country", noting that "the differences and conflicts are not solved by war." He pointed to "the importance of the Organization's role as one of the large organizations that have a weight in the promotion of peace among peoples," stressing "the need to sustain consultation with the Organization for the Coordination of cooperation between the two sides." In turn, the Delegation expressed support for the efforts of Iraq in the fight against terrorism, as well as the potential contribution of the Organization of Mecca during the second, which could be held in Iraq at the request of the Conference. The delegation also expressed the readiness of the Islamic Development Bank to support the development process in Iraq and the organization is ready for serious talks in this regard.
