Kurdish lawmaker: delegation will ask the province to increase its share of the budget to 20%

Arafat said Karam, MP for the Kurdistan Democratic Party, said that "the most important points to be discussed by the region delegation in Baghdad, the federal budget, and the emphasis on installing the region's share of them in practice.
He said Karam told the Lord's ((eighth day)) is likely that the region delegation from Baghdad asks to increase this share to 20 per cent of Iraq's budget, or more, for reasons including the liberalization of many areas of (Daash), and the presence of a large number of displaced in the Kurdistan region, leading to the security file and the Peshmerga forces and arming and providing her budget as a military force within the Iraqi defense system.
He added, that the region will discuss all outstanding issues between Erbil and Baghdad.
The Kurdish delegation will visit Baghdad on Wednesday to discuss common issues with the federal government. (AA)
