Secretary General of the Council of Ministers underlines the importance of strategic planning and public policy in the ministries

Secretary General of the Council of Ministers, Dr. Hamid Khalaf Ahmed stressed the importance of strategic planning and public policy in all ministries and government departments.
He called during his speech at a workshop organized by the Department of follow-up and coordination in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers of the coordinators of public policy in the ministries to contribute to the development plans.
The Secretary-General urged the relevant personnel in the field of strategic planning in the ministries to contribute to policy development, stressing that the government program for the Council of Ministers in its success depends on strategic planning.
The workshop was attended by Deputy Secretary General of the Council of Ministers for the ministries and provinces Rahman Issa Hassan, the director general of the Department of follow-up and coordination of the Secretariat Riad Fadel.
The workshop reviewed the criteria for strategic planning and public policy, and program management and achieve goals, resolve issues and confront the existing problems and the future of the ministries, and the outline of the course of public policy, and how the financial budget management coordination measures.
