Talabani said in an interview with The Associated Press that Sunni Arabs granting broad political authority within their community may be one way to not join their children to organize "Daash."
Talabani said that the Iraqi federal government must give up a lot of authority to local centers of power, calling on the province to allow the establishment of a Sunni and that this action may be the only way to prevent them from joining the so-called Islamic state "Daash."
And Talabani stressed that the emergence of the regions now require a major shift in the culture, and that the country is heading in this direction, more than ever, adding that the idea crystallized among Sunni Arabs since the withdrawal of US combat troops from Iraq in 2011, has recently received support among military experts and diplomats.
Talabani said that the Iraqi central government has proven that it is not prepared to relinquish power to the regions and provinces across the country, although it was required to do so under the Iraqi constitution, noting that this policy led to the provinces and the region to deprive the country of power and oil revenues.
