Turkish Energy Minister announces shipping 2.6 million barrels of Iraqi oil to Turkey

Declared Turkish Energy Minister Taner Yildiz, on Thursday, the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (SOMO) shipped 2.6 million barrels of crude oil to Turkey, noting that the only oil refining company in Turkey bought 520 thousand barrels.
Yildiz said that "the government of the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (SOMO) shipped 2.6 million barrels of crude to Turkey since November 18 after officials found in Baghdad and the Kurdistan region of Iraq to an agreement on oil exports."
Yildiz said that "It is the only company Tupras oil refining company in Turkey bought 520 thousand barrels of crude from SOMO."
The Turkish Energy Minister Taner Yildiz announced earlier on Thursday (11 December 2014), the country began to buy shipments of Iraqi crude oil.
