The Speaker and Greek Ambassador discuss bilateral relations
The Speaker Dr. Saleem Al-Jubouri received in his office on Sunday the Greek ambassador to Iraq Dionysios Kivitos. During the meeting, they discussed means of activating the agreements signed between the two countries and specifically the parliamentary memorandum of understanding , in addition to activating of mutual friendship committees. Al-Jubouri stressed that Iraq welcomes all efforts that contribute to the development of its foreign relations, especially in the parliamentary field. The Speaker received a formal invitation from Mr. Kivitos to visit Greece and promised to pay the visit when his schedule permits.
