Abadi ask the heads of councils and governors accelerate the process of transfer of powers

BAGHDAD - ((eighth day))
Prime Minister, Haider al-Abadi, said he had asked the heads of councils and governors to expedite the transfer of powers from the federal government to the provinces.
Ebadi said that "the government giving powers to the provincial councils in the light of the amended Act 21, and it continues this trend of decentralization."
He expressed Abadi, full support to work alongside local governments to implement the Act 21 of 2008 amended, he returned. "Fait accompli for the service of the citizen."
The Prime Minister believes, that he "does not return for a commitment to decentralization to the Constitution," adding that he had asked during the meeting of the governors and heads of councils to speed up the process of the transfer of powers in accordance with the law.
And that will be presented to the Council of Ministers Almarqlat that prevent the implementation of Act 21 to discuss it, and to find effective solutions to it.
And on the petro-dollar resources, Abadi said, "2015 budget law mechanism to provide oil to the provinces have to ensure, to the importance of warning that the process is moving properly through the federal government ministries and cooperation for the success of the task of the transfer of powers."
