Cabinet announces decisions sixteenth regular session

The Information Office of the Prime Minister Date: December 30, 2014 Session: normal sixteen Cabinet held its sixteenthnormal in Baghdad today (Tuesday, December 30, 2014) under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Dr. Haider al-Abadi, and issued by the Council following decisions: 1.
The Cabinet decided the following:
1 / Cancel Council of Ministers Resolution No. (1) for the year (2014) and the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers / legal department take steps to withdraw the appeal Law Amendment Act procedures governorates not organized province No. (21) for the year (2008) before the Federal Supreme Court. 2 / the Supreme Coordinating Committee for Provincial Affairs within thirty days to re-examine the Amendment Act above and propose the necessary adjustments to achieve harmony and smooth flow of work between the central government and local authorities, according to the principles of the Constitution
. 2 - The Cabinet has decided to expedite the completion of the agreement with the Islamic Republic of Iran on the demarcation of land and maritime borders.
3. Cancel Cabinet decision 282 of 2013, issued in connection with cancellation of the investment contract awarded to the company (BIOGH British) in Khor Al-Zubair area and the continuation of the Commission to negotiate with the company mentioned to reach a solution Rezai.
4-1 / authorize Chairman of the National Authority for Investment Agency Mr. (Sami Raouf al-Araji) the validity of the signature on the Settlement of Investment between states and citizens of other countries, conflicts agreement based on the provisions of Article (80 / item VI) of the Constitution. 2 / do Ministry of Foreign Affairs to prepare a document authorization required on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Iraq, Mr. President of the National Authority for Investment Agency in accordance with the contexts approved, and submitted to the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers in order to obtain the signature of the Prime Minister.
