Iran and Iraq stress to enhance cooperation and exchange of experiences between the police of the two countries

Tehran / NINA / Interior Minister Mohammed Salem al-Ghaban met in Tehran on Sunday Head of the Centre for Strategic Studies for Iran internal security forces Brigadier General Ahmad Radan.
Ghaban and Radan exchanged views on security developments in the region and ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation and exchange of experiences and expertise between the police of the two countries to raise the efficiency of the performance of the security services in the face of terrorist crimes and save societal security.
Radan said that Iran and Iraq as neighboring countries and brothers are linked to many common interests and they can cooperate in addressing the conspiracies of the enemies and the exchange of experiences to ensure internal security.
Ghabban said that the Iraqi police can benefit from Iran’s experiences in the field of modern communications technology and information to address the crimes and identify criminals and arrest them and hand them over to justice.
