Italy sent reconnaissance aircraft to Iraq to uncover the IS organization sites

BAGHDAD / NINA / The Italian government announced on Sunday sending reconnaissance aircraft to Iraq to uncover the IS organization sites.
The Italian ambassador to Iraq, Massimo Maruti stressed in a press release today that the Italian President as the head of the European Union in its previous session, has encouraged all Union countries to provide Iraq in the humanitarian and security field.
“He added that his country sent five planes of food and water for the displaced families, and set up shelters for them, as has dispatched three reconnaissance planes to assist in the detection of the IS organization sites, and to provide the army and the Peshmerga forces with weapons and training.
Maruti stressed that his country sent three teams to train the KRG and Baghdad, as well as the Italian government financial aid worth 300 million euros, for the development of the port of Faw, which is the world’s largest assistance.
