Karbala Investment stresses the need to resolve the contentious on the Second Amendment to the investment law points with adoption of the budget

{Karbala: Euphrates News} Chairman of the Investment Commission of Karbala Mahl Ahmed al-Maliki stressed the need to resolve the contentious on the Second Amendment to the investment law points with approving the budget. He said al-Maliki in an interview told {Euphrates News} "The adoption of the budget will not significantly alter the reality of investment projects, but they have to coincide with the release of the budget to resolve points of contention shown by Karbala on the Second Amendment to Law No. 13 of 2006, which is the most prominent of materials related to the announcement of opportunity investment and the signing of contracts and grant land to the investor. " He said that Karbala is waiting to meet with the National Economic Commission for parliamentary discussion of these objections. "
He said the "law addressed the obstacles arising from the implementation of Law No. 222 of the Ministry of Municipalities and private farmlands within the design basis for the city center and allow the Investment Authority to transfer the genus investment lands, but it processors is insufficient due to the lack of resolution of the dispute with the ministries that went official letters when granting any investment license relating to providing economic and schemes usefulness, and thus beyond the powers of the body while the law allows them to track specific duration of the implementation of the project legal procedures and duration of the investment, making some of the contracts exceed the legal limit her a full month from the date of granting the license because of routine actions by some ministries.
