Revealed Economic Commission parliamentary Sunday that taxes on mobile phone and cigarettes will reach 30%, calling on the government to prevent exploitation, while suggesting the need to activate the product and the consumer and the customs tariff protection laws.
Said committee member Nora Albjara in an interview for "Alsumaria News" that "taxes will be imposed on the mobile phone networks and cigarettes and alcoholic beverages will range between 20-30%," asking "mobile phone companies need to activate the Internet to reduce the cost to the citizen through the use of fiber system." .
Albjara called on the government to "activate the product and consumer protection laws, as well as customs tariff," pointing out that "the activation of these laws would raise prices in the market and therefore on government regulators to prevent the exploitation of traders to citizens by raising prices."
