Iraq calls on companies to deal direct Brazil in the supply of goods

Commerce Minister Mlas Engineer Mohammed Abdul Karim met in his office on Thursday, the Brazilian ambassador to Iraq to discuss the possibility of developing trade relations, particularly with respect to supply Iraq with materials ration in addition to offering topics of mutual understanding, which is in the interest of the two service.
According to a statement directly obtained by the minister stressed the need to increase the volume of trade exchange between Iraq and Brazil and cooperation with the Ministry companies in the fields and imports with which it deals.
Calling on the Brazilian side to deal directly without the intervention of middlemen in the supply of goods and materials for the ministry to facilitate the arrival of competitive prices in line with the government program to promote the general budget resources.
For his part, the Brazilian ambassador welcomed the call by the Minister for the Strengthening of the development of trade relations and direct dealing with the ministry without intermediaries.
It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of large transactions with the Brazilian side to import rice material that fall within the ration card items where the balance of trade with Brazil during 2014 amounted to more than a billion US dollars.
