The Ministry of Planning and Development Cooperation, Sunday, for the stability of the inflation index for the month of January last, as pointed out that the survey did not include the four provinces because of security conditions.
The official ministry spokesman Abdul Zahra al-Hindawi said in an interview for "Alsumaria News", "The Central Bureau of Statistics of the Ministry of Planning completed the inflation report for the month of January 2015 on the basis of field data collection on the prices of goods and services components of the consumer basket of selected sample of outlets in governorates of Iraq all, "noting that" these rates are calculated goods and services of food, rent, transportation, communications, health, education and other Iktnyh which include consumer. "
He added Hindawi said "Monthly inflation for the month of January and the annual index settled as a result most of the prices of stability", adding that "food prices fell by 7% during the month of January compared to the same month of 2014".
Hindawi said that "the survey, which was conducted during the month of January did not include the four Iraqi provinces because of the security situation witnessed in those provinces," pointing out that "the provinces that are not covered by the survey of prices included Nineveh, Salahaddin, Anbar, Kirkuk."
And announced the Center for Statistics and Information Technology through January 2012, it will begin using mechanization in the collection of the different prices and times specified time rather than paper form in place previously, emphasizing that it will contribute to the speed of price collection and accuracy, and correct calculation in case of errors.
