The oil Ministry commends Security Council resolution prohibiting the purchase of oil smuggled from daash

The oil Ministry, praised on Sunday the UN Security Council resolution seeking to dry up the resources of the Organization of the terrorist, daash from oil sales and the effects and FIDA.
He said Ministry spokesman Assem Jihad said in a statement that "the latest UN Security Council resolution No. [2199] which provided for cutting off terrorist financing and tighten control of areas controlled by terrorists and besiege the finance organizations daash and victory, also included the prevention of trafficking in Iraqi oil with terrorist organizations."
Jihad, praised the decision and said that "important step to protect national assets and undermine smuggling of crude oil and petroleum products across the border."
"This resolution is aimed at draining the main sources of financing of terrorist groups and undermining and end criminal activities and complements the decision of the UN Security Council last year and numbered [2170]", calling on neighbors to "cooperate with Iraq to protect oil wealth and eliminate oil smuggling".
Jihad said the Ministry will not tolerate follow-up and to prosecute all those involved in the theft and smuggling ", adding that the Ministry had already asked the authorities concerned to protect the oil wealth of vandalism, looting and theft, as well as assault on workers."
And the UN Security Council adopted last Thursday a resolution aimed at draining the resources of the terrorist organization daash reaped millions of dollars from smuggling oil and effects of FIDA.
The 15-Member Council unanimously adopted resolution drafted by Russia and is legally binding and gives the Council the authority to impose economic sanctions to put pressure on States to implement the resolutions, the resolution does not authorize the use of military force.
