Abadi’s office welcomes “Positive change” in Turkish stance towards Iraq

The office of the Iraqi Prime Minister, Haider al-Abadi, welcomed the “Positive change” in the Turkish stances toward the Iraqi government.
The spokesperson of the Iraqi PM, Saad al-Hadithi, stated to AIN “Turkey is an important and strategic country where it plays a vital role in supporting Iraq.”
“The Turkish change towards Iraq is positive and the Iraqi government aims at developing the cooperation with Turkey to have a greater role,” he added.
“The positive change started during Abadi’s visit to Ankara and the visit of the Turkish Prime Minister, Ahmet Davutouglu, to Iraq,” he concluded. /End/
