Iran suggests the production of a film about the life of Talabani

Iran has proposed, the production of a film about the life of former Iraqi President Jalal Talabani, at the same time expressing its readiness to coordinate and cultural cooperation with Kurdistan. According to the Ministry of culture in the Kurdistan region of Iraq, in a statement Wednesday that "the Kurdish culture Minister Khaled Al-doski discussed with the Director of the cultural section of the Iranian Embassy in Iraq Gholamreza ghabazi ways to develop cultural relations between the two sides."
Ghabazi expressed his country's readiness for "training of technical personnel in the film and other substantive areas, as well as coordination in the administration of book fairs and a common cultural activities," according to the statement. During the meeting, ghabazi suggested that "the production of a film about the life of former Iraqi President Jalal Talabani," pointing out that "the establishment of a Kurdish cultural centre in Arbil." After the change of the former regime in 2003, the Iranian Government has sought to strengthen its relationship with Iraq and Kurdistan, and opened three official border crossings with the territory, the pilgrims ' Omran, bashamak, broiskhan.
