Abdul-Mahdi conference sharing powers between Baghdad and the provinces demanding passage of oil and gas law .

Mahdi said that the conference which is being held for the second time under the slogan "partnership responsibility .. .. achievement" will emphasize the importance of the principle of true partnership between the provincial councils and the Ministry of Oil in oil trading and contracting with companies.
He added that "we discussed at the conference and several commandments and important things pertaining to the oil sector Mcetkji what we started in the first conference," calling on the need to approve oil and gas law.
Abdul-Mahdi stressed that the ministry is seeking to achieve a true partnership between the provincial council and the ministry itself, "adding that" the workshop stressed the things that pertain to the oil extracted and how the direct supervision by the local government in partnership with the Ministry of Oil.
