Rebels Kill Five IS Leaders in Western Mosul
Two of them killed by IED

Unidentified militants in Mosul, northern Iraq, have killed five high-ranking Islamic State (IS) militants in two separate incidents.
Ghayas Surchi, a Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) official from Mosul, told BasNews that rebels are continuing attacks on IS targets in the city.
“On Wednesday, a number of unidentified rebels attacked and killed three IS emirs [leaders]. They were Ali Qassim, Khatab Hamid and Saad Qassim Khalaf.”
Surchi revealed that besides this attack, an IED planted by rebels blew up an IS vehicle, killing two emirs, Khidir Kazim Fazil and Karim Hadidi.
BasNews yesterday reported that the rebels attacked an IS base in the west of Mosul, killing six jihadists.
