The parliamentary integrity Committee, to corrupted files on real estate registration after examination and held meetings with the Director and officials of the Directorate General of land registration, and return them to the era of former Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki.
The integrity Commission member Adel Nouri, told the news agency the Buratha briefed that he "was called the Director and officials of the Department of real estate registration, to record their statements about real estate, where investigations into corruption in the Maliki government."
Nouri said that "property and real estate belonging to the deceased Sadam regime officials returned to the Ministry of finance after the formation of the Iraqi Government, but the investigation revealed that such property has been registered on behalf of female subordinates to his constituency and Secretary General of the Council of Ministers," adding that it "was the title of real estate without fee or auction".
The property consists of a number of buildings and sumptuous palaces, buildings constructed during the reign of Sadam's regime toppled, and was registered in the name of the deceased offender Abdel Hamoud Ranger I to Saddam Hussein.
