Baghdad calls for the transfer of powers to the provinces and local councils to grant broad powers

Tomorrow Press / Baghdad: Student Baghdad Provincial Council member Nizar Royal on Saturday, the transfer of powers to the provinces and the granting councils wide powers, noting that this will contribute to increased confidence and teamwork harmonious, and helps to stabilize the situation.
Royal said in a statement received by "tomorrow Press", "The transfer of powers to the provinces increases confidence and contributes to the delivery of services to the citizen in the center of the best," pointing to "the importance of educating the community to choose a decentralized system in the country."
He added, "We must adopt a system preserves the unity and cohesion of Iraq," explaining that "the decision to grant broad powers to the provinces and will contribute to the promotion of joint action with the rest of the authorities."
Royal warned of "the demands of some ministries to postpone the transfer of powers to further notice."
First Paragraph of Article 45 of the governorates not organized province of Law No. 21 of 2008 amended to establish a body that is called (the supreme body for coordination between the provinces), headed by the Prime Minister and the membership of the ministers of the ministries covered by the transfer of powers and holds the transfer of powers task.
