Praised House Speaker Salim al-Jubouri, on Tuesday, the role of the Federal Court in support of the legislative institution through the restoration of the right of legislation to the House of Representatives decision, noting that the decision would give the legislative institution the ability to accomplish laws faster.
Jubouri said, "We appreciate the role of the Federal Supreme Court in support of the legislative institution through its decision in the restoration of the right legislation for the Iraqi Council of Representatives," explaining that "this decision would restore the legislative institution prestige and enhance the role and gives it the ability to accomplish laws faster."
Jubouri said that "the availability of appropriate space for the House of Representatives in the legislative side will lead to more support for the political process and strengthens the democratic process in Iraq," stressing that "the decision will play a key role in the country's service significantly."
The Parliamentary Legal Committee, announced on Tuesday that the Federal Court gave the right of Parliament to submit proposals for legislation laws except three types of laws, and showed that the decision brought to mind one of the articles of the Constitution.
And the voice of the Iraqi Council of Representatives, today, to adhere to the agreements between the heads of the political blocs, with parliamentary source revealed the existence of differences on the resolution of the heads of parliamentary committees.
Referred to the House of Representatives held this morning, its 28-chaired by Salim al-Jubouri, and the presence of 220 deputies.
