The prime minister Haider al-Abadi, during a meeting with a group of heads of major US companies, government direction towards simplifying procedures for investors and raise the obstacles they face.
A statement by his office, on Wednesday, the agency received all of Iraq [where], a copy of it, that "al-Abadi met with a group of heads of major US companies in various financial, banking, commercial, oil and technology sectors."
He expressed Abadi, according to the statement, "Iraq's desire to enter international companies to invest in the country, and that there is a tendency for the government to simplify procedures for investors and raise any obstacles they face as a result of bureaucratic procedures."
"The representatives of the companies, they offered their insights on how to help Iraq to promote his abilities in various sectors, as well as ways to exit Iraq from the financial and economic challenges experienced by the result of the decline in oil prices."
