Called Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi , on Thursday, a project to simplify administrative procedures in government departments through the use of information technology, adding that the project includes facilitating the completion of transactions of the citizens in the government departments and the registration of national and foreign companies in the field of investment.
The director of the Office of the Prime Minister Mahdi Keywords in a speech, on behalf of the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, during the launch of the project in Baghdad and attended by Alsumaria News , "The Iraqi government launched a campaign, today, to streamline government measures will facilitate the registration of national and foreign companies in the field of investment and facilitating measures the completion of the transaction and the completion of the pension treatment of the martyrs and commercial transactions. "
Keywords and added that "the launch of the campaign was due to the presence of a lot of extra measures," asserting that "a national project and serves all Iraqis and beyond partisan boundaries."
Keywords and pointed out that "a government work team six months ago silently about this project," noting that "the task is not easy and require continuous efforts and follow-up."
He stressed the need to "complete the transaction quickly befitting the children of our people and preserve their dignity," pointing out that "the delay in completion of transactions totally unacceptable state."
The Iraqi government announced, earlier, that it is launching a national campaign to streamline the government measures under the slogan "Your government serving you."
And Iraq's parliament approved in October 2006 Iraqi investment law, but many foreign companies are still hesitant because of fear of the unstable security reality in Iraq, in addition to the presence of some of the paragraphs it is attractive for investment despite the amendment to the law in 2010.
