World Bank Group President Jim Yong Kim, Friday, that the Bank would contribute to funding urgent projects for the liberated areas, adding that he would support economic and financial reforms.
Martin's Office said in a statement received/information/copy, "the Prime Minister Haidar Al-Abbadi met with headquarters in Washington, World Bank Group President Jim Yong Kim", stating that he "discussed the economic and financial realities and challenges facing Iraq and the support of the World Bank and its contribution to funding a number of projects."
The statement quoted Kim as saying, "the World Bank will contribute to the financing of several projects in the sectors of electricity, water and infrastructure in addition to urgent projects for the liberated areas also support the economic and financial reforms and meet Iraq's challenges."
And the President of the World Bank on "World Bank support and attributed to Iraq and its follow-up in person to support Iraq in many sectors." Finished/25
