BAGHDAD / Baghdadi News / ... received the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi in his office, on Thursday evening, Vice President of the World Bank Hafez Ghanem and his accompanying delegation.
A statement from the office Abadi, received / Baghdadi News / copy of it, that "During the meeting, they discussed the economic and financial situation through which Iraq and support the reconstruction of the liberated areas and rest areas in the provinces and cooperation in many fields and future programs of the World Bank in Iraq."
The statement added that "al-Abadi welcomed the guest delegation, noting that Iraq is going through many challenges including those related to the economic and financial situation and we want to take advantage of the financial crisis to build a healthy economy depends on the long-term vision and avoids strategy as much as possible solutions and treatments prosthetic."
The statement pointed out that "the Prime Minister called on the World Bank to work with the provinces, especially the province of Basra for development and reconstruction in those provinces."
The statement stressed that "Hafez Ghanem, in turn, expressed the bank's readiness and willingness to cooperate with Iraq in the fields of training Iraqi energies in many of the terms of reference and support the private sector and the reconstruction of the liberated areas of Daash terrorist organization and support a number of other sectors."
