Iran begins testing line to export gas to Iraq 50 m long

BAGHDAD - News Today / confirmed National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) it started preliminary tests for 50 km of pipelines in the final stage, to export gas to Iraq, indicating that the export operations will begin after the completion of the second test. The company said in a statement seen by "News Today", she "began initial tests on more than 50 km of pipelines in the final stage to export gas to Iraq." Iranian company added that it "will be tested further 47 km of remaining pipeline runs from the Iranian Ilam Province to the city" denied month "border in the near future," adding that "it is scheduled to begin export operations as soon as the second test is completed." The company explained that "Iran plans to export four million cubic meters of natural gas per day to Iraq within weeks, after which pump 40 million cubic meters of gas per day during the summer." It is said that the total length of the pipeline is 270 km stretch between Iraq and Iran, to feed the two power stations near Baghdad, where it is expected that this will provide nutrition electrically support of about 160 thousand Iraqi family.
