Abadi looking United Nations efforts in Iraq

The continuation of the UN mission's efforts to provide assistance in the liberated areas and provide support for the displaced to their areas.
BAGHDAD / Obelisk: received the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, Wednesday, representative of the UN mission in Iraq, Mr. Jan Kubis, praising the efforts of the United Nations mission with regard to the political and humanitarian situation and to support Iraq.
A statement from the Prime Minister's Office, seen by the "obelisk" it "During the meeting, they discussed developments in the political and security situation in Iraq, and programs of the United Nations Assistance Mission in a number of sectors, in addition to the conditions of the displaced and the reconstruction of the liberated areas."
He praised al-Abadi, according to the statement: "the efforts by the United Nations Mission in respect of the political and humanitarian situation and to support Iraq in its war against terrorism."
In turn, Mr. Kubis said: "The continuation of the UN mission's efforts in providing all that would provide assistance in the liberated areas and provide support for the displaced to their areas."
As has been pointed to the importance of addressing the issue of displaced persons, and ensure a safe areas for them, where Mr. Jan Kubis expressed the readiness of the mission to make every effort to cooperate with the Iraqi government in this regard and stressed the UN support for the Iraqi government in its efforts to restore security to the areas usurped Daash.
