The new Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir expressed his country’s keenness to develop and promote relations with Iraq.
The Foreign Ministry said in a statement today: “Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari held today a telephone call with new Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir on the occasion of his accession to his duties, and presented congratulations to his Saudi counterpart on this occasion.
Jaafari, confirmed Iraq’s desire to develop its relations with all Arab brothers, fore before with Saudi Arabia. / End
