Kuwait says quarrel between al-Jaafari’s bodyguards and the airport security is solved

Shafaq News / The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Wednesday, "solving" the fight that took place between the security bodyguards of the Iraqi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ibrahim al-Jaafari and the Kuwaiti security.
The Kuwaiti Undersecretary Minister of Foreign Affairs , Khalid Sulaiman Al-Jarallah said according to the official Kuwait News Agency "KUNA", that “ the dispute happened between the Kuwaiti and Iraqi protection teams assigned to protect the guest Foreign Minister "and that upon arrival at the Kuwait International Airport , it has been contained and overcome with the spirit of brotherhood and the keenness of both sides to relations and reaffirmed not to let things like this prejudice these special relations between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples. "
Honors hall at Kuwait International Airport has witnessed fight by hands between members of the protection of Iraqi Foreign Minister , Ibrahim al-Jaafari and the Kuwaiti protection represented by security of Special Forces in the hall during the arrival of al-Jaafari to attend the meeting of foreign ministers in the Islamic Conference to take place on Wednesday.
AlAAN Kuwait newspaper said that the Kuwaiti side in the existence of Foreign Ministry Undersecretary , Khalid Al-Jarallah and Assistant Undersecretary for Security Special Affairs Maj. Gen. Mahmoud al-Dossari refused to allow the entry of six members of the Iraqi security team for violating the Kuwaiti Security, and after negotiations with the Iraqi Foreign Minister, it was agreed on the entry of the six bodyguards on condition on their residence within the Iraqi Embassy in Kuwait and not to accompany the minister during the conference, until the end of the events and their departure, accompanied by the Minister.
The newspaper said the quarrel and fight completed within the second hall, as news said that the Iraqi minister insisted on an apology by Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs, threatened to leave the country and not to participate in the conference.
No further explanation of Jaafari's office has been revealed after the incident.
