Maysan experiencing deliberative meeting for mutual powers in the oil and gas management

Maysan / Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network (IMN) - held in the province of Maysan deliberative meeting to discuss mutual between local governments and the federal government in the oil and gas management powers.
The meeting was attended by Oil Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi and the governors of nine provinces and directors of the Iraqi oil companies and foreign companies operating in Iraq as well as the heads of the provincial oil and some members of the House of Representatives.
Said Adel Abdul Mahdi's (IMN) "We want a solution to all problems between the federal government and local governments of oil-producing, and access to the map correct way in the oil and gas fields, especially since the oil battle now is as important as the battle on the battlefield, which is waging Iraq against terrorism."
Abdul-Mahdi said that "there are three relationships between the three parties, namely local governments and the federal government and companies operating in the oil and production extraction, and must be organized properly, and must approve oil and gas law to keep things moving legal and proper form."
He pointed out that "oil contracts between Iraq and foreign companies must be respected by both sides, because these contracts where our interests and the interests of companies operating in foreign and national."
Referred to the Finance Minister Hoshyar Zebari met recently at the headquarters of the Office of the ministry Chairman of the Finance Committee in the House of Representatives Ahmad Chalabi, where they were during the meeting, they discussed cooperation between the Ministry of Finance and the Finance Committee in the House of Representatives and a review of the fiscal policy situation in the country, it was also discussed ways to maximize revenues State to cover the 2015 budget because of falling world oil prices.
