Barzani and al-Obeidi discuss military cooperation between Arbil and Baghdad

President of the Kurdistan region, Massoud Barzani met on Saturday, Iraqi Defense Minister Khaled al-Obeidi and Army Chief of Staff Babacar Zebari, and discussed with them ways of increasing bilateral cooperation between Erbil and Baghdad in the military field, according to a presidential statement.
The statement said that al-Obeidi briefed Barzani on the "latest security developments in the field and the situation on the battlefield against terrorists Daash in the Iraqi provinces," he was talking about the development of the city of Mosul and its future, and emphasis was placed on "the face and the elimination of terrorists and edit areas."
In another aspect of the meeting, which was held in the resort of Salah al-Din, the two sides discuss military and security coordination, cooperation between Arbil and Baghdad to confront "terrorists".
