Barzani and al-Shahristani discuss situation in Iraq and relations between Arbil and Baghdad

A statement for the presidency of the provincial government responded to Twilight News, that Barzani received afternoon (yesterday) Sunday in the capital, Erbil, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Federal Government of Iraq Hussain al-Shahristani.
The statement said the two sides discussed during the meeting, the current situation and political developments, and military and security in the country, pointing to highlight in detail on the economic and financial situation in Iraq.
He added that the Gaban also discussed relations between Erbil and Baghdad, and ways to take the pace to address the outstanding problems.
He said Barzani spoke in detail about the war against al "Daash" terrorist in the Kurdistan region and the continuing failure to retreat in front of Daash victories Alپeshmrگh forces, drawing attention to the economic situation and the financial crisis in the Kurdistan Region and its aftermath.
The statement said that the meeting was attended by President of the Presidium of the Kurdistan region, Fouad Hussein.
It should be noted that al-Shahristani visited the Kurdistan Region on behalf of the Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi in the Patriarch of the Assyrian Church of the East in the world and the inauguration ceremony of transfer chair patriarch of America to Erbil.
