Haider al-Abadi meets with Kirkuk Governor

Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi met with Dr. Najmaden Kareem Governor of Kirkuk, the security, political and economic situation in Iraq in general and in Kirkuk in particular. A statement issued by the Information Office of the governor of Kirkuk, said that the meeting was positive and the federal government promised to support the demands of Kirkuk.
The governor of Kirkuk and al- Abadi discussed the issue of Kirkuk budget, the crisis of displaced persons and the problem of fuel, electricity and challenges facing the province, the statement added.
They also discussed the issue of liberalization of Hawija and all regions of Kirkuk from the control of the so called the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant and arming tribes in coordination with the security committee in the governorate
