Kirkuk (AIN) –The Governor of Kirkuk province, Najm al-Din Kareem discussed a number of important issues that concern the citizens of the province with the Minister of Oil, Abdul Kareem Laibee, on Sunday.
A statement by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan quoted Kareem as saying "I meet the Laibee in Baghdad on Sunday," noting that "Meeting was important and fruitful."
"We discussed the file of erecting new oil refinery in Kirkuk in addition to the issue of improving the oil sector in the province," the statement added.
"The meeting resulted in reaching agreements that will be reflected positively on the citizens of the province," the statement assured.
"I invited Laibee to visit Kirkuk province," the statement stressed, noting that "Laibee accepted the invitation and promised to visit the province." /End/
