Former US ambassador stresses the importance of an oil deal between Baghdad and Erbil

Former US ambassador to Iraq, Ryan Crocker, said Wednesday that Baghdad and Erbil were on the verge of reaching an agreement on oil and revenues. Crocker and expressed his belief that reaching such an agreement should be the top priority, adding to say in an interview with Radio Free Iraq during a visit to Prague: "I think that the two sides were on the verge of reaching an agreement on issues relating to oil and revenues. I would like to see the two sides Acetkmlan this agreement, which will certainly be in the Kurdish interest because they will get through it the largest revenue which would get by selling their oil. So I think that the agreement should occupy the highest priority because the two sides were on the verge reached, "as he put it
