Planning lay with the United Nations road map new slums in the country

Twilight news/Senior Steering Committee announced the project in the Ministry of planning, said Sunday that it had prepared a roadmap to tackle slums in collaboration with the United Nations human settlements programme (alhbitat).
Spokesman of the Ministry of planning said in a statement, Nicole Hindawi response to twilight news, that "the road map approved by the Commission to tackle slums prepared technical support organization (alhbitat) and ratified Alaq poverty alleviation in Iraq."
The Organization alhbitat will do some steps on the roadmap including the adoption of the basic training programme for staff in ministries concerned with project and construction and housing ministries, municipalities and public works and the Baghdad municipality as well as the Ministry of planning in addition to the Organization's logistical procedures in the procurement of modern satellite images to survey the slums and hired a financial expert to develop a strategy with the aim of providing financial support for the project from different sources.
Hindawi pointed out that "the road map to address the phenomenon of slums will be submitted to the Council of Ministers with a view to approval and ratification, the Executive management of the poverty alleviation strategy in Iraq located in the Ministry of planning is working diligently to implement the recommendations of the senior Committee on llstrtget do technical review roadmap addressing the dwellers in order to be completed, finalized and submitted to the Council of Ministers".
He pointed out that "the planning Ministry had recently approached the organization formally invited alhbitat to move to international destinations to get adequate financial support to implement the road map as it was approaching the Iraqi Foreign Ministry, asking them to address the Chinese Embassy in Baghdad, the Iraqi Embassy in Beijing to study Chinese companies specialized in the field of printers produce housing units assigned appropriate economic, and that the Ministry is waiting for a response from them."
The Planning Department had carried out a survey of slums in Iraq in cooperation with the Ministry of municipalities and public works by the end of 2013 showed that more than two million and four hundred man living in improvised housing that numbering (346) a dwelling which was the largest share of Baghdad (33) percent.
