Calls for the contribution of Italian companies in the sectors of rail and ports

BAGHDAD / Obelisk: called on Transport Minister Baqir al-Zubaidi, Sunday, Italian companies to contribute to the investment sectors railways, ports, especially the port of Faw, while across the Italian Ambassador Marco Carnelos his country's solidarity with the Government of Iraq in its response to regulate "Daash".
Zubaidi said Office in a statement seen by "obelisk", "The Transport Minister, received today, the new Italian ambassador to Iraq Marco Carnelos, During the meeting, they reviewed the distinguished bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways of enhancing them to serve the common interests."
He added that al-Zubaidi, "gave a detailed explanation of the Iraqi political scene and the efforts of the security forces in the fight against terrorist Daash international support represented by the Italian efforts to train the Iraqi army and police."
He Zubaidi, according to the statement, and welcomed his call for Italian companies to "contribute to the investment sectors railways, ports, especially the port of Faw."
For his part, the Italian ambassador expressed "solidarity and support of the Italian government with Iraq in its response to the terrorist Daash".
Zubaidi was called in (29 March 2015), the contribution of French companies to invest in the port of Faw in Basra province, stressing that the economic relationship between Baghdad and Paris reached advanced stages
