Babylon: No investment projects in 2016 and await the final approvals to work on credit

Babylon / Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network ( IMN ) - Babil Provincial Council confirmed on Monday that 2016 will not see any new projects, pointing out that the local government is waiting for final approvals by the federal government to convert the stalled projects to companies for the purpose of payment on credit.
He said Falah al-Khafaji, a member of the Council's ( IMN ) "The federal government refuses to implement new projects except those necessary and urgent projects such as security and health projects."
He continued that "the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers and the House of Representatives and the concerned authorities in the ministries of planning and finance the completion of work on the FAQ and send it to local governments to convert part of the project through the payment on credit."
The Ministry of Economy of Turkey has been addressed earlier, an invitation to the ministries of housing, electricity, agriculture and municipalities, as well as some local governments to attend a conference of investment opportunities held in Turkey, in order to enter Turkish companies to Iraq through the implementation of projects Order on credit.
